Naveen D. Padil is an Indian actor and theater artist, who predominantly appears in Tulu films and dramatic productions. He is known for playing comic roles in Tulu drama plays and films. In 2015, he gained recognition for playing the roles of Kotiyappa and Gundu Mava in the Kannada television comedy show Majaa Talkies on Colors Kannada.

Naveen Padil was born on Tuesday, 11 November 1969 (age 53 years; as of 2022) in Padil, Mangalore, Karnataka, India. Their zodiac sign is Scorpio. Naveen completed his schooling from Karmar School, Padil. Naveen belonged to a poor family and his mother worked as a domestic help. After completing his schooling, Naveen started working as a mason and a supplier in a hotel to meet the daily household expenses. Additionally, he drove an auto-rickshaw at night for one and a half years to help his family financially.

During his school days, Naveen was selected as a child artiste in a youth drama centre, which was run by Mohiuddin Abbas, a playwright. He performed with many Tulu drama clubs like Kala Sangama, Lakumi and Chaparka. Naveen participated in various plays and theatrical productions like “Devar De Leka Apundu,” “Nikulu Matherla Uleratha,” “Yanori Baroliya,” “Ardha Nidre,” “Initha Avaste,” “Onji Nimisha,” “Telikeda Barsolu” and Lagan Performed from. “Oriyadori Asal,” and “Oriya Tunda Oriyagapuji.”
