Namrata Joshi is an Indian journalist and film critic. He has worked with many renowned media houses in India including Outlook and The Hindu.


Namrata Joshi studied English Literature from Delhi University. He pursued his further studies in media at the Film and Television Institute of India in Pune, Maharashtra and the Times Center for Media Studies in Delhi. His excellence in evaluating films led him to work with Outlook as a Senior Associate Editor for 16 years.

Namrata Joshi is an Indian award-winning film critic. After working for Outlook news magazine from 1999-2015, she joined the Mumbai edition of The Hindu, which she announced through a tweet in 2015,
