The 2023 MTV VMAs are happening!
The annual MTV Awards ceremony returns to New Jersey’s Prudential Center on Tuesday, September 12, the network confirmed Tuesday (May 23).
The show will air live at 8 pm ET and PT. A host has not yet been named.
“Celebrating one of our biggest nights in music with the incredible fans of the Garden State has been our goal since last year’s successful event,” said Paramount+ executive Bruce Gillmer.
Last year’s show was hosted by Nicki Minaj, who also received the Video Vanguard Award.
The performers of the show have yet to be revealed. Last year’s show featured Eminem, Blackpink, Bad Bunny, and Anitta.
The VMAs will broadcast across MTV’s linear and digital platforms in more than 150 countries and territories, via MTV.
