Ed Sheeran is celebrating his court victory with a surprise performance in an unexpected location.
The 32-year-old “Thinking Out Loud” star hopped into a car on Friday (May 6) to serenade fans in New York City guitar in hand.
An audience gathered and clamored to see the performance, pulling out their phones to preserve the moment.
Their impromptu performance comes after Ed was victorious in a copyright lawsuit earlier in the week.

If you missed it, the hitmaker was found not guilty of copying the Marvin Gaye song “Let’s Get It On” with his hit “Thinking Out Loud.” Ed had to miss his grandmother’s funeral to attend the trial.
