MR. And Mrs. Smith He’s getting a ton of guest stars!
The upcoming Prime Video series, a reimagining of the 2005 action comedy film starring Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, stars Donald Glover as John Smith and Maya Erskine as Jane Smith.
Here’s a plot summary: “In this version of Mr and Mrs Smith, two lonely strangers get jobs for a mysterious spy agency that offers them a glorious life of espionage, wealth, world travel, and a dream house in Manhattan. The capture? New identities in an arranged marriage as Mr. and Mrs. John and Jane Smith. Now married, John and Jane undertake a high-risk mission each week while also facing a new milestone in their relationship. Their complex cover story becomes even more complicated when they discover real feelings for each other. What is more risky: espionage or marriage?
The eight-episode series also stars Paul Dano, Michaela Coel, John Turturro, Parker Posey and Wagner Moura. And now, even more guest stars are announced via Deadline.
