On Thursday night’s Saturday Night Live, the cast of Molly Kearney took to the stage to make a humorous and witty statement about recent attacks on transgender youth in the United States. Appearing alongside Michael Che and Colin Jost in a segment of “Weekend Updates,” Molly, the first non-binary member of SNL to use the pronoun surname/surname, stole the show.

Michael Che, representing Molly, noted that since the beginning of the year, more than 400 anti-LGBTQ+ laws have been introduced across the country. ACLU estimates a total of 461 bills.
