Anil Antony is an Indian technology entrepreneur and politician, a former member of the Indian National Congress (INC). He has served as the Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) Digital Media Convenor and the National Coordinator of the All India Congress Committee (AICC) Social Media and Digital Communications Cell. He is the son of AK Antony, an Indian politician and member of the Congress who served as the 23rd Defense Minister of India. In 2019, he entered politics by joining Congress. Ahead of the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, he was appointed as the KPCC Digital Media Convenor. In 2020, he also became the national coordinator of the AICC social media and digital communications cell. He took over the Kerala unit of Digital Communications INC.

On 24 January 2023, Anil Antony posted a tweet protesting the screening of India: The Modi Question, a controversial documentary on the 2002 Gujarat riots, saying that the BBC’s coverage of Indian institutions undermines India’s sovereignty. On 6 April 2023, he joined the BJP in the presence of BJP leaders Piyush Goyal and V Muraleedharan and party’s Kerala unit chief K Surendran. After joining BJP, Antony said,
Every Congress worker believes that they are working for a family. But I believe that I am working for the country. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has a very clear vision of placing India at a leading position in the multi-polar world.
