Molly joined the show just as Kelli Giddish was leaving in season 24.
According to TV Line, Detective Muncy was offered a promotion to a task force, which she was apparently confirmed to accept as she packed up her desk near the end of the hour.
Following Molly’s confirmed departure, Wolf Entertainment shared a compilation video of Muncy’s time on the series.
It is unknown if Kelli’s Rollins will return in her place, or if Muncy will return in any capacity in the future.
