William Levy is a model and actor born on August 29, 1980 in Cojimar, Cuba. He got the last name Levy because his maternal grandfather was Jewish. Despite his Jewish origins, William was not raised in a religious household. William Levy was raised by a single mother, Barbara, and he and his family immigrated to Miami, Florida when he was 20 years old.
William Levy attended Barbara Goleman High School in the Miami Lakes neighborhood. William attended college to study business administration after graduating high school, thanks to a two-year baseball scholarship from the University of St. Thomas. William later moved to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career.
