Mohammad Kaif is an Indian cricketer who plays for Bengal in the domestic circuit. He is also popular for being the younger brother of famous Indian fast bowler Mohammed Shami.

Mohammad Kaif also known as MD Kaif was born on Tuesday, 10 December 1996 (age 27 years; as of 2024) in Sahaspur Alinagar, Amroha, Uttar Pradesh, India. Their zodiac sign is Sagittarius. While studying in school, he started taking cricket training at DNS Academy, Amroha and became a professional cricketer.

During his teenage years, he gave repeated trials for junior teams of Uttar Pradesh; However, he failed to qualify for any team. In 2016, he moved to Kolkata and started playing cricket for local clubs. He played for various clubs including Town Club in several editions of the Bengal T20 Challenge tournament. In 2020, he scored 58 runs in 24 balls in a T20 match, which included 6 fours and 4 sixes.

He was selected for the Bengal Under-23 team in 2019. Mohammad Kaif made his List-A debut for Bengal against Jammu and Kashmir in the 2020–21 season of the Vijay Hazare Trophy on 27 February 2021. He made his debut in first-class (FC) cricket for Bengal in the 2023–24 Ranji Trophy season on 5 January 2024, against Andhra Pradesh. While playing for Bengal in domestic tournaments, she trained under Lakshmi Ratan Shukla.
