I was very sad to hear about the death of Mikhail Gorbachev. He was a man who tried to provide a better life for his people. His life was a consequence because without him and his courage it would not have been possible to end the Cold War peacefully.

There’s an old saying, “Never meet your hero.” I think that’s some of the worst advice I’ve ever heard. Mikhail Gorbachev is one of my heroes and it is an honor and pleasure to meet him. I was extremely lucky to call him a friend. We can all learn from his amazing life. pic.twitter.com/All5suSke1
