“On behalf of my sisters and I, we need your help. My amazing mom, Mary Lou, has a very rare form of pneumonia and is fighting for her life. She can’t breathe on her own. She has already been in the ICU for more than a week. Out of respect for her and her privacy, I will not reveal all the details. However, I will say that she is not insured,” she wrote on a SpotFund page.
She continued, “We ask that if you can help in any way, you 1) PRAY! and 2) if you could help us with the finances for the hospital bill. ANYTHING, absolutely anything, would be a great help to my family and my mom. Thank you very much to all!”
The fundraiser has a goal of $50,000 and has already reached $29,000 as of 7 pm ET on Tuesday (October 10).
Mary Lou competed in dancing with the stars in 2018 and shared an update on her personal life while on the show.
