Marvel’s Phase 5 of the MCU, aka Marvel Cinematic UniverseStarted early 2023!
The current phase of the interconnected universe is in the middle of the three phases of “The Multiverse Saga,” which began with the series. WandaVision in 2021.
9 movies and 10 TV shows have already been released as part of the saga and there are still many more to come!
Phase 5 began with Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumaniaand has continued for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3, secret invasion and the most recent, Loki Second season, currently streaming on Disney+!
The intertwined universe has seen a lot of changes over the past year, from casting to creative changes to the hiatus of multiple productions due to the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes.
As Disney reworks many things, including rethinking its content strategy, several MCU TV shows and movies have been delayed.
