Manu Bhakar was born on 18 February 2002 (age 21 years; as of 2023) in Goriya, a village in Jhajjar, Haryana. He studied at the Universal Public Senior Secondary School located in the same city.

livelihood

Before starting her career as a professional shooter, Manu Bhaker joined Virender Sehwag’s coaching school in Jhajjar and also took up boxing and kick-boxing. He quit boxing after injuring his eye while playing volleyball during a warm-up session.

From Tha-Thang to Judo, he enrolled himself in many other sports, but it did not interest him and he soon left the sport.

Eventually, she went to her school’s shooting range and casually took a pistol and fired a straight 7.5 shot. Since her first foray with the pistol, Manu Bhaker has been hailed as India’s next big shooting sensation.
