Manasi Joshi Roy is an Indian film and television actress. She is the sister of Bollywood actor Sharman Joshi. She has appeared in the Bollywood film Student of the Year 2. She was India’s first star movies host on Bol Bollywood.

Mansi Joshi Roy was born on Monday, 15 April 1968 (age 55 years; as in 2023) in Mumbai, Maharashtra. His zodiac sign is Aries. His ancestors are residents of Patan, Gujarat. He did his schooling from Manekji Cooper Education Trust School, Mumbai. She earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Mithibai College, Mumbai. During her childhood, Mansi spent most of her time in theatres, helping her uncle and father prepare for their shows. She was inspired by her father and decided to become an actor.

During her college days, Mansi Joshi Roy started her theater career with a Gujarati play, directed by her father Arvind Joshi. She has acted in Arvind’s plays, which explored father-daughter relationships. She has acted in many dramas like Annie Sugandhno Dario and Tamari Neha, and I Should Be in Pictures. She played the lead female role in the Hindi version of the drama All the Best (1992) produced by Firoz Abbas Khan. The play proved to be a huge hit and was staged for the next 8 years.

Mansi started her television career with Star Plus’ TV show Gaatha. She has played many roles including Sudha in Saaya (1998–1999) on Sony TV, Chandni “Upperwali” in Gharwali Uparwali (2000–2003) on Star Plus, and Madhuri Pankaj Sharma in Dhai Kilo Prem (2017) on Star Plus. Mansi played the role of Sheela Ramani in the suspense thriller series Saturday Suspense (1997) on Zee TV. Mansi had an episodic role in this show. She has also hosted many shows on TV like Entertainment Now and Tara Rum Pum Pum.
