Lisa Rinna Claims ‘Days of Our Lives’ Environment Was ‘Disgusting’ & ‘Hostile’ Following Albert Alarr Misconduct Accusations

Lisa Rinna is reacting to the recent misconduct accusations against Days of Our Lives director and co-executive producer Albert Alarr.

It was recently revealed that Alarr had been the subject of a nine-week internal investigation, stemming from a large number of layoffs in March that some claimed unfairly targeted female employees.

Following news of the investigation, Rinna, 60, looked back at her time on set of the soap opera, calling it “disgusting” and “hostile.”

For those unaware, Rinna originated the role of Billie Reed in the ’90s and went on to reprise the role in the 2000s, for a week in 2018, and most recently in 2021 for the Peacock spinoff series Days of Our Lives: Beyond Salem.

Taking to her Instagram Story, Rinna shared a photo of Alarr while writing, “Karma is a b—h.”

She then followed up, writing, “Well, this took a long time… the last time I went over there and did that week on Peacock I couldn’t believe the work environment.”

“It was disgusting, I was shocked,” Rinna claimed. “I let many people know, Albert included, and they didn’t do a thing until now, it seems.”

She then took to Threads to elaborate more on what she witnessed on the Peacock spinoff series.

“I went back to play Billie in 2021 for Days of our Lives Beyond Salem. I was there for one week only,” Rinna wrote. “I was shocked by the Hostile environment that it had become, and I was afraid for the young actors who had to continue to work there.”

“I went to the producer I even spoke with Sony HR,” Rinna claimed. “I wonder where the union is in this and how was this left unchecked?”

During the investigation, more allegations surfaced against Alarr, accusing him of inappropriate behavior, bullying, making crass and vulgar remarks, and groping female crew members.

According to Deadline, Alarr allegedly admitted to some, but not all, of the allegations.

Following the investigation, Corday Productions, the company the produces Days of Our Lives, released the following statement:

“Corday Productions engaged Sony Pictures Television, which distributes Days of Our Lives, to conduct an impartial investigation into this matter,” the production company shared. “After a two-month investigation, the independent investigator produced a report with its findings. Based on those findings, Corday Productions has taken a series of actions designed to ensure a safe and respectful work environment.”

The production company did not elaborate on what the “actions” are, citing a confidential employee matter.

Following the investigation, Alarr reportedly received a written warning and was asked to undergo training. He still remains as director and co-executive producer of Days of Our Lives.
