Lil Nas X Documentary Reveals He Inspired His Brother to Come Out

Lil Nas X’s brother opens up about his coming out journey.

The documentary of the 24-year-old “Montero” singer premiered this weekend. Lil Nas X: Long live Monteroreleased in the Toronto International Film Festival 2023.

The film features Lil Nas Long Live Tour to Monteroand also moving comments from the singer and rapper’s brother, Tramon Hill, according to Entertainment Weekly.

“My brother really opened doors for a lot of people,” Tramon says in the documentary. “Yes, he opened a door for me. What I mean by that is that I’m not gay, you feel me? I am bisexual. He helped me be real with myself. “My brother made me more open to it.”

Tramon was nervous about how coming out would affect his life, but his brother inspired him to be true to himself.

“If you fuck with me, you fuck with me,” he says in the film. “If you don’t do it, you don’t do it. Bye bye. Get out of my presence. I do not need you”. He adds: “At the end of the day, people are going to be screwed who they mess with, so stop trying to chase a friend. A friend will always be there.”

In fact, the documentary’s release was delayed due to a bomb threat allegedly motivated by homophobia and racism.
