Some social media users will go to great lengths to attract celebrity and attention. Although celebrities rarely respond to such pranks, on July 7, 2022, Kylie Jenner called out a TikToker for lying and pretending to be her Instacart delivery person.
Pablo Tamayo claims he delivered Kylie Jenner’s Instacart order.
It all started when TikTok user Pablo Tamayo, also known as @thisisntpablo, posted a video claiming to have delivered Jenner’s Instacart order to her home. Instacart is a supermarket delivery service that sends personal shoppers to your house to shop for you and deliver your items. Tamayo claimed he received a last-minute request to fly him to West Hollywood.
When he arrived at his destination, he noticed that the house seemed familiar because a friend had previously shown him the place. It belongs to a cosmetics mogul.
“Wait, this can’t be Kylie Jenner’s home,” I think to myself. I’ll have to look it up.’ So I checked it out online and it’s Kylie Jenner’s home in Holmby Hills, Los Angeles,” said the TikToker.
He also said the order was under the name of Ashton, who he assumed was her assistant. Tamayo was allegedly instructed to break through the door and deliver the order. He even shared a video of him entering the residence, but it was not clear if it was Jenner’s. The camera changed to a shot of him in the vehicle after he delivered the order.
He claimed he was traveling “on a path with a river running underneath” after entering the gate. Tamayo allegedly spotted all the assistants and maids through the window after she left the line in front of the residence. He didn’t see Jenner or Stormi, but claimed to hear a baby crying.
Pablo Tamaya singled out Kylie Jenner.
Jenner made a TikTok video of herself cooking a mayo sandwich after Tamay’s video went viral. “I’m sure you either love mayo or absolutely despise it,” she said in the post. After making a sandwich, she took a sip while Travis Scott chatted with their daughter, Stormi Webster, in the background. As the date of Tamaya’s delivery and Jenner’s sandwich video coincided, netizens began to believe him.
But before things got out of hand, Jenner responded to Tamaya’s accusations in the comments of the video. “I did not order this. He [Tamayo] tipped via app. Is it true that I lied about looking out the windows and hearing my child crying??” Jenner wrote in a post she later removed. She said no one was crossing the river because she was gone.
The reality personality admitted that lying for attention irritates her. In the last message, she asked everyone to ignore comments related to the event if they do not understand what it is about. No one knows if Tamayo was telling the truth, but he was seen responding to Jenner’s sandwich video in his latest TikTok.
