Kyle Richards is addressing all the rumors and speculation that his marriage problems are being made up.
The 54-year-old actress is currently separated from her 27-year-old husband, Mauricio Umansky, and many have claimed that it is all just for a plot or relevance in the series. Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
In an upcoming podcast interview preview, the RHOBH OG is revealing how he feels about such claims that everything is being fabricated for the show.

“Why would a human being create a story like this, no offense, Alex. I love you and everyone on the show, but who would do that for the ratings and put their family through this? she said in the Bravo’s hot microphone podcast with Housewives Executive producer Alex Baskin.
“That’s one of the dumbest things I’ve probably heard in 13 years,” he continued. “Am I going to pretend I’m separated and torture my kids to get people to tune in? I mean, that’s the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard.”
“And when people talk about, you know, oh, they do these things to be relevant, I mean, I’m already on the show. [for] 13 years. I mean, like I said, the misconception goes back to people. I care about being relevant to my friends and family. Yes, I’m on television and, you know, but I’m fine. I’m not looking to be more relevant. I’m fine. And I would never put my family through this.”
Kyle also said that seeing things like this is “very upsetting and very frustrating for me.
Alex even defended Housewives against such claims.
“I think that’s where sometimes the cast can be a little dehumanized to the audience, where I think, you know, these are real lives that are affected by this,” he said. “I think that’s where audiences might think of the cast as TV personalities, and that’s not the case.”
