Early life and childhood

Activism
When asked about the origin of her “passion for freedom of expression,” Ho told La Presse reporter Frédéric Lelièvre that it likely stemmed from her being a teenager in Montreal during the 1995 Quebec referendum.
LGBT issues
At the fourth annual Hong Kong Pride parade on November 10, 2012, Ho proudly identified himself as “tongzhi” (Cantonese: tung4 zi3), a Chinese slang term for homosexuals. She was 35 years old.
