Rowhi Rai started her career in 2016 by posting lip-sync videos on TikTok (known as Musically at that time). Soon she started getting numerous views on her videos and became famous. In 2019, she created her YouTube channel named ‘Rowhi Rai,’ where she started sharing vlogs, haul videos, and reaction videos. Her first video on her YouTube channel was ‘Types of Momos Eaters.’ In the same year, she participated as a contestant along with Nipun Dhawan in season 4 of the youth-based reality show ‘MTV Love School,’ which aired on MTV India.

Trolled on Social Media
In 2022, Rowhi Roy was heavily trolled by netizens on social media after she made a vlog on her father’s death anniversary. In her vlog, ‘What I Eat In A Day In my Father’s Sharad,’ she said that as per the rituals, she was allowed to have one meal on that particular day; however, in the video, she was seen eating snacks throughout the day. Many netizens criticised her and accused her of exploiting sensitive rituals for the sake of creating content. She was later roasted by many YouTubers for this particular vlog. Subsequently, several YouTubers joined in the criticism and roasted her for this particular vlog.
