- In February 2022, Kisbu made headlines after Arjun Krishnan, a Kerala-based photographer, posted his photographs on his Instagram page. He clicked pictures of Kisbu at the Andalur Kaavu festival on January 17, 2022, when he saw Kisbu selling balloons there.
Kisbu’s picture has been posted by photographer Arjun on Instagram.
- Kisbu’s pictures received a great response on Instagram after which Arjun decided to include him in a photoshoot. Makeup artist Remya Prajul worked on Kisebu’s transformation for the photoshoot.

- While talking about Kisebu in an interview, Arjun said,
I saw him on a temple road. She had balloons in her hands and was standing right under the street light, and the overall atmosphere was great – the temple was crowded, bright and dusty. As soon as I saw her, I adjusted my camera settings to take her photo and she looked straight into the camera in the third shot – the photo that first went viral. I showed his mother and him all the pictures and they were really appreciative.”
- For the photoshoot, Kisbu was styled in a traditional Kasavu saree with gold jewellery. Later, Arjun posted pictures from the photoshoot on Instagram which were liked by many.

- In an interview, makeup artist Remya said that Kisbu did not want to sell balloons, but she wanted to study.
