Travis Kelce Talks Super Bowl Celebration Plans With 11-Year-Old Jeremiah Fennell

Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs will face the San Francisco 49ers in the Super Bowl on Sunday. The Chiefs have a chance to win their third Super Bowl ring in the last five seasons. Since the Super Bowl will be held in Sin City this year, the event has a little more shine. But perhaps the celebration is even more epic than the game. In an interview with 11-year-old journalist Jeremiah Fennel, the Chiefs star revealed his possible celebration plans.

“Last year we celebrated the Super Bowl victory by going to the Wynn and the XS Club. You can’t get there yet, but maybe one day,” the star tight end joked.

No travel ban for Chiefs Star’s father after arrest

Patrick Mahomes Sr. was driving drunk in Texas last week. Reports indicate that this has happened several times and the Chiefs star’s father has even served time for it. This could be Mahomes’ third DUI violation. Under Texas state law, that could mean he would serve between 2 and 10 years in prison.

But the Chiefs star’s father will still be able to attend this Sunday’s big game. Judge James Meredith, the judge in the case, tells TMZ there is no travel ban on Mahomes Sr.

“Judge James Meredith, who handled the case in Smith County, Texas, on Sunday following Mahomes Sr.’s arrest for driving under the influence, tells us that he did not impose any travel ban on the elder Mahomes as part of the bail conditions… paving the way for Dad to see his son play in Las Vegas on SB LVIII,” TMZ wrote.

Mahomes calls Super Bowl experience ‘humiliating’

This weekend, Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes has a chance to become a three-time Super Bowl champion. He can also become a three-time Super Bowl MVP. Mahomes is already one of the greatest to ever play that position. Becoming a three-time champion would put him in unusual company. But despite all the praise, Mahomes says playing in the big game is still a “humbling” experience.

“It’s humbling because I honestly never thought I’d be at so many Super Bowl games. “You strive to be great, but you understand how hard it is to even be in this game, and for us to be in my fourth game in my sixth year as a starter is really extraordinary,” Mahomes told reporters.

“I don’t take it for granted because you never know if you’ll be able to get back into this game.”
