Kim Kardashian embraces the spring weather in a sheer ivory ensemble as she arrives for the TIME100 Summit 2023 held at Jazz at Lincoln Center on Tuesday (April 25) in New York City.
The 42-year-old socialite and businesswoman was a speaker at the event, as Time named her shapewear brand, WASTEone of the most influential companies in 2022.
While onstage, Kim spoke about her journey in founding the brand and how the process shaped her.
“I chose to put myself first for once and just choose my happiness. And I felt like I was putting so many other people and their happiness in front of mine. And I just realized, ‘Why am I so concerned with making everyone else happy and not myself?’” she shared, via harper’s bazaar.
Kim went on to say that “when you choose to do that, it doesn’t mean you ignore others and their feelings.”
“I have so many relatives, so many children, there are many people around me that I like to make happy. And when you choose to do that, it just changes…or changes my perspective and allows me to focus on myself, my babies, my business and what really makes me happy.”
Over the weekend, Kim was spotted with her two oldest children, North and Saint West, at separate events!
