Looks like things are heating up on Mahogany’s latest movie, spring preview!
Here’s the full recap of tonight’s movie: Monica Rollins (Sharp) is a single mom who is excitedly waiting for her daughter, Vivian (Rhyon Nicole Brown), to come home for spring break, which is her annual tradition. . . Days before, after years of tireless dedication to her work, Monica is dismissed without consideration.
To make matters worse, Monica is dealt a second blow when Vivian announces her surprise engagement to Shawn (Akono Dixon), someone Monica didn’t even know existed. She travels to The Gulf Shores for the engagement celebration, secretly determined to put an end to it, believing that Vivian is too young to marry.
Along the way, she runs into Clark Randall (Grosse) at the airport, who is also Shawn’s best man, and an unexpected flirtation ignites.
Monica and Clark argue over what she perceives to be their boyish attitude, but as they learn more about each other, Monica begins to change her mind and may find that she is ready to open up to love once again.
