A royal source revealed to Sunday weather This weekend Middleton is likely to speak out about health concerns when she resumes her public royal duties next month.
“I can see a world where the princess could talk about her recovery at her engagements,” the source explained. They also noted that Kate Middleton and Prince William are “more open” when they are in public.
“If she was going to do it, this is how she would do it,” the source continued. It is further claimed that the Prince and Princess of Wales want to be transparent. But they will only speak when they “feel” ready to do so. “I would hope that would be her instinct and it will be her decision. “They are not going to rush them.”
Except for a couple of photos of her in vehicles, Kate Middleton has not been seen publicly since Christmas. In January 2024, Kensington Palace revealed that the Princess of Wales underwent “planned abdominal surgery.” However, no further details were given.
“The surgery was a success,” Kensington Palace said. “And she is expected to remain in hospital for 10 to 14 days, before returning home to continue her recovery.”
Kensington Palace also stated that Kate Middleton was unlikely to return to public duties until after Easter. In particular, she hoped to maintain as much “normality as possible for her children.”
