Deborah Ann Woll: Look, playing Karen Page was one of the greatest roles of my career so far. I have so much love and respect for her, for myself, and for the story we created together. I think any return of Karen, if she comes back, if it’s me, if it’s not me, if it’s in a comic book, if it’s 50 years later, whatever it is, I just hope it continues to pay homage to her. You are never just a supporting character.
You may not see Karen Page’s story, but she’s making an entire TV show on her own that no one is filming. Making sure that for our characters, they’re not superheroes, they’re not protagonist warriors like that, that we just continue to respect that they have full lives. That’s what I’m really grateful for about my time playing Karen Page, and I hope if I could do it again or continue to do it, people would care about her the same way.
I am very proud. I really am. I absolutely love working on this and she’s a really cool person. I miss her.
