Official posters and teasers for Disney+’s upcoming K-drama Connect mystery thriller have been released. The show, starring Snowdrop’s Jung Hae-in as the main character and Private Lives’ Go Kyung-pyo as the main antagonist, is sure to wow audiences with its gruesome story. The upcoming series is a Disney+ original series based on the webtoon of the same name. It tells the story of a new race with an eternal body called the “Connection”. Dong Soo, one of those people, was kidnapped by organ harvesters and lost an eye as a result. A few months later, he discovered that the eye he lost had been transplanted into the body of a serial killer causing him to grow uncontrollably, causing much controversy in Korea. Dong Soo vows to correct the wrongs caused by his abuse of power as he begins his search for the serial killer.

Takashi Miike, a famous director with a worldwide fan base, will direct Connect. This will be his first production in Korean. Jung Hae-in, the main character of the show, will show a part of him that he has never shown before with a spectacular makeover. Go Kyung-Pyo, who amazes audiences with his impressive versatility, will play Jin Seop, a serial killer who happens to catch Dong Soo’s eye. The figure, like Janus, has two faces. On the surface, he seems like the perfect and brilliant employee, but he also has a side that no one can predict, which adds tension to the film.
In the promotional poster, Dong Soo, Jung’s character Hae, looks directly at the audience. He and famous serial killer Jin Seop will face off and the poster shows this inevitable meeting as Jin Seop overlaps with Dong Soo.
The poster also features Lee Rang (played by Kim Hye-Joon), Dong Soo’s companion who understands his secrets and the abilities that come with them. Connect will launch on Disney+ on December 7, 2022.
