The broadcaster told Mirror UK he had contracted the virus in Malta and was unable to work for two months due to “wheezing” from the illness.

“I was able to avoid COVID until last year, when I was infected.” I didn’t get anything because I was sick. It completely exhausted me. I was surprised at how terrible I was. It took me about two months to recover. “I’m out of breath.”
Paul O Grady is said to have spent the summer recuperating from health problems at his Kent estate:
“I went out to feed the pigs and had to stop two or three times on the way there, wheezing.” I do nothing but nap. I would wake up, go downstairs, rest on the sofa and then fall asleep for four hours.
The comic continued to expand on his actions, stating that he “feels terrible” about his health:
“I get out of bed, drink a cup of tea, then go back to bed and sleep all night; it’s so strange. “I just feel terrible about it. I’ve never slept so much in my life. I’ve had all the footage, but it was the final nail in the coffin.”
O Grady also recalls feeling like she was “dead” after experiencing the first symptoms:
“We finished a day of filming and that night I was feeling a bit uncomfortable and the next day I felt like I was going to die.” I was in severe pain and wheezing terribly. I stayed in my dorm room for nine days, slowly turning a corner.”
He said he felt better after returning home, but after a few days he got sick again:
“I ended up going home and feeling so much better but then I was in shock and I was in bed again, I couldn’t move.”
The 67-year-old expressed gratitude that the feud ended after two months, but revealed that his experience has not been pleasant:
“Thank God, I’m over it now, but there was a time when I wondered, ‘Will this ever go away?'” ‘Can I regain my vitality and get rid of the fatigue?’ It was not a good experience.”
