Josh Hutcherson opens up about the “WhistleVideo edited by a fan that has gone viral on TikTok!
The 31-year-old actor recently opened up about the resurgence of the nearly ten-year-old video, thanks to a new post on TikTok, and revealed how his brother had to inform him of what was going on.

“I love it. It’s great,” he said. Eastern Time. “Someone said it became the new Rickroll… I think this is crazy and I don’t know why.”
However, since he’s not on social media, Josh admits he didn’t understand why “an old photo shoot” was going viral.
“Then finally, over the holidays, my brother and his boyfriend were like, ‘We need to sit down and explain to you what’s going on online,’ Josh shared. “And then they gave me a summary. “They showed me all these videos and we all laughed about it.”

“When someone first told me ‘The Whistle Song,’ in my mind I went to [Too $hort’s] ‘Blow The Whistle,’” he continued, laughing. “And then when I saw it, I thought, oh, it’s that whistle [Flo Rida’s ‘Whistle’]. It’s okay. “I don’t understand it, but I’m here for it.”
