She is known to have showcased her acting skills in many famous TV serials like Aladdin – Naam Toh Suna Hoga, Ek Anokhi Rakshak Naagkanya, Vighnaharta Ganesh and many more. She also made her debut as a lead actress in the drama Mera Desh Bulaye Re aired on DD Kisan.

Anila Kharbanda was born on Wednesday, 27 November 1991 (age 30 years; as in 2021) in Delhi. Anila completed her schooling from Springdales School, Delhi and later, completed her graduation in Media and Communication Studies from Mumbai. In 2012, he did his internship with BIG 92.7 FM, a famous radio channel. After completing his graduation, he worked at Endemol Portugal, a broadcasting and media production company.

Anila was a part of many theatrical performances in her younger days. Even though he acted in theatres, he was never interested in pursuing acting as a career. During her theater days, Anila worked in many plays with many famous artists like Shabana Azmi. Anila Kharbanda is also a member of the Indian People’s Theater Association, also known as IPTA. In one of her plays, Anila also worked with MS Sathyu, the director of the 1974 drama film Garam Hawa.
Career as a stylist
Anila Kharbanda was more interested in designing and dressing than acting. Anila has spent almost a decade in the industry and has mainly worked as a stylist with many renowned filmmakers like Sanjay Leela Bhansali. He worked as a costume stylist in the film Mann Bairagi. She was also the in-house stylist at Fireworks Productions.
Working as Assistant Director
Anila Kharbanda has also gained experience in her career by working as an Assistant Director with many renowned media and production houses. Her first job as an assistant director was with Sunshine Pictures, and in 2013, she was employed as an assistant director with Raisina Post.

In an interview, Anila Kharbanda claimed that she did not want to become an actress, and was often told by her colleagues and superiors to pursue acting as a career. Anila Kharbanda got her big break in 2019 when she was offered the role of Sundari in the mythological serial Vighnaharta Ganesh, which was produced by Contiloe Pictures.

In 2020, Anila got another role as Ruthi Pari in the fantasy serial Aladdin – Naam Toh Suna Hoga.

She got an offer to play a role in the TV serial Sondhi Sondhi Khushboo Pyar Ki in 2021. Later in 2021, Anila Kharbanda also played a role in Dangal TV’s crime-drama serial, Crime Alert. The same year, she accepted an offer to act in a daily serial titled Na Jaana Pardes.

She played the role of Mansi, an NRI who returns to India from the United States. While giving an interview, Anila said,
I will play the role of Mansi/Massie, an NRI character whose father owns a fertilizer company in the United States. She has not seen her mother and has been raised by an American woman. To enjoy this experience, she comes to India with her boyfriend after 15 years, where she gets to know the real conditions of farmers in the country. Also, she understands family bonds and emotions. This is such a beautiful character that I can connect with immediately and completely.”
