‘Next Thing You Know’, Jordan Davis’s full ballad, surpassed ‘What My World Spins Around’ to become the artist’s sixth #1 hit. 1 within six months.
The much-loved song surpassed Morgan Wallen’s streaming blockbuster, “Last Night,” which had dominated the charts for the previous few months, to rise to the top of Mediabase’s country charts. ‘Next Thing You Know’ has garnered 8,547 turns this week, while ‘Last Night’ is slightly worse off with 8,502 turns.
‘Next Thing You Know’ follows Jordan Davis’ success with Luke Bryan-backed ‘Buy Dirt’, both tracks venturing into more pensive, melancholy territory compared to chart-topping singles Davis’ previous albums, such as ‘Driven by Pop’ Singles ‘You Up’ and ‘Take It From Me.
