Just months after Jonathan Majors was found guilty of harassment and assault, the former Marvel star is facing more legal trouble.
According The Hollywood Reporter Majors is now being sued by his ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari for defamation, as well as assault and battery. She filed the lawsuit Tuesday in federal court in New York.
In the lawsuit, Jabbari accused Jonathan Majors of subjecting her to a “pattern of widespread domestic abuse that began in 2021 and extended through 2023.” He also detailed several cases of alleged physical violence.
Major’s lawyer, Priya Chaudhry, issued a statement regarding the latest legal issues. “This is no surprise. Mr. Majors is preparing counterclaims against Ms. Jabbari.”
The former couple met on the set of Ant-man and the wasp: Quantumania in 2021. He alleged that the abuse he suffered at the hands of Jonathan Majors escalated into assault in 2022. The actor “attacked” Jabbari at one point and caused “serious injuries” to his body.
Among the incidents was one on September 20, 2022. Majors “pushed Grace so hard that he hurt her butt” during a verbal fight. He then lifted her into the air and threw her against the hood of her car. The actor took her back to her house and put his hands around her neck. At that moment he said that he wanted to kill her and that he was going to kill her.
Majors slammed Jabbari’s head into the marble floor while strangling her. He later wanted to receive medical treatment for the incident. But she claimed Majors convinced her not to go.
He told her in a text message: “They will ask you questions and since I don’t think you really protect us, it could lead to an investigation even if you lie and suspect something.”

Jabbari’s new lawsuit comes just days after Jonathan Majors’ current girlfriend, Meagan Good, declared that she is the happiest she has been in a long time because of their relationship.
