John Bird Passed Away At The Age Of 86

Chambers and Absolute Power star John Bird died on Saturday, December 24, at the age of 86. The satirist’s cause of death has not been revealed and his medical history is currently unknown. His agent confirmed his death at the Pendean premises in West Sussex, UK. Only family members will attend his burial and his life celebration will be held in 2023.

On Twitter, his colleagues, especially the impressionist Rory Bremner, paid their respects and condolences:

“I am truly sorry to hear that the great John Bird has passed away. One of the most humble and talented satirist of all time. And one of the few anti-establishment platforms left. 14″

Bird is known for her roles in television series and films such as Dandy in Aspic, This, That, and the Other, The Seven-Per-Cent Solution and others.

John Michael Bird, born November 22, 1936, started his career on television in the 1960s. Bird played Raymond in an episode of the ninth season of the BBC Play for Today anthology series. From October 15, 1970 to August 28, 1984, the show aired 306 episodes.
