Michael and Victoria Bracco welcomed their son, Jeremy Bracco, into the world on March 17, 1997 in Freeport, NY. Born and raised in New York, Jeremy started playing ice hockey at the age of four. His father, Michael, was a goalkeeper at Dartmouth University and taught his children how to play the sport.
Bracc’s father was his coach for more than six years. Although nothing is known about his siblings, Jeremy said that both of his brothers played ice hockey. Similarly, his uncle, Jon, played goalie for the University of St. Lawrence from 1993 to 1997.
