In 2011, Jay Uday Kotak joined the Mumbai-based Infina Finance Private Limited, where he worked as an analyst till 2012. He was hired by McKinsey & Company in Mumbai in 2012 as a business analyst; he worked there till 2014. After completing his MBA, Jay joined Kotak Mahindra in Mumbai, where he worked as an associate till October 2019. From November 2019 to November 2021, Jay worked at Kotak Mahindra as an associate vice president. In November 2021, Jay Kotak was appointed as the Vice President (VP) of Kotak811.
