In July 1994, Banerjee admitted to charges related to murder, arson, and RICO. Banerjee received a 26-year prison term after pleading guilty as part of a plea deal. In prison, while awaiting his final sentence, he committed suicide. Banerjee’s wife received an inheritance from Chippendales.
