In 2012, he joined IBM as a product marketing manager and worked there until June 2014. In 2013, he founded his first app SetMeUp, a dating website. While talking about his app in an interview, Jai Wadhwani said,
We started 2 years ago with the basic idea that social accountability was missing in online dating. By connecting people through their mutual friends, we enable others to leverage their own social circles to make connections. We launched our web app on 1st November 2013 which achieved tremendous success with over 20,000 users and 60 million viewable profiles registered in our database. Our mobile app is expected to be released on March 8th, 2014.
In 2014, he co-founded AugoTV. AugoTV is a technology solutions app. That same year, he founded Singled Out. Singled Out is a dating app that empowers women and takes away the problems of essential apps like Tinder. Some of their other established apps are XO: Get Opinions Fast, a social search app, and THEBARTrivia app. Talking about his organization in an interview, he said,
We try to focus on connecting users quickly face-to-face, but with other people they can trust. If you really think about it, this is an extremely difficult task, because trust develops over time. In February 2016, he joined LinkedIn as a product manager. He worked with the organization until March 2019.
