Jadav Lal Nath aka Jadab Lal Debnath was born on Wednesday, 18 October 1967 (age 55 years; as of 2022) in Jalabasa village of Panisagar Block in North Tripura district of Tripura, India. Career
Jadav Lal Nath was influenced by Communist ideology during his early career. He served as the Pradhan of the Radhapur Village Panchayat. He decided to switch to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) after witnessing the corruption done by Communist politicians and joined BJP on 25 February 2013. He contested the 2013 Tripura Assembly Elections from Jubarajnagar constituency; however, he lost the elections. In 2018, he contested the Tripura Assembly elections from Bagbassa constituency and won for the first time.

He won again in the 2023 Tripura Assembly elections from Bagbassa seat and became MLA for the second consecutive term. He has praised the vision of Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, and his slogan, Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’ during numerous political rallies.
Controversy
Watching obscene video in Tripura Assembly
On 30 March 2023, he was caught watching porn film in the Tripura Assembly during the budget session. Apparently, someone sitting him captured him while watching the blue film and leaked the video. Opposition leaders of Congress and Tipra Motha Party demanded his resignation; however, he said that he was innocent and was trying to attend a call, when the blue film suddenly popped up on his mobile, and while he was trying to close it, he got captured in video. In July 2023, Congress MLA Sudip Roy Barman entered Tripura Assembly with a bottle of Gangajal and sprinkled it everywhere, as an action to purify the assembly in protest to non-suspension of Nath from the assembly.
