In 2014, when she was traveling with her father to meet her father’s friend at the Gachibowli Athletic Stadium in Hyderabad, she saw some children practicing shooting. From there his interest in sports developed. While sharing those memories during an interview he said,

I started with badminton because at that time people in Hyderabad were crazy about teaching badminton and tennis to their children. Sania Mirza and Saina Nehwal won Olympic medals. I played badminton for two years and then got bored and tried skating followed by tennis for about a year. I left that too. On Sunday, I woke up early and saw that my dad was getting ready to go somewhere, so I told him that I wanted to go with him and he agreed. I had no idea where we were going. On the way, he told me that we were going to see his uncle shooting at the Gachibowli Stadium range. I got really excited. That was the first time I saw a shooting range, then I told my father that I wanted to give it a try.
