Indira Devi (1952 – 2022) was an Indian woman and the mother of prominent Telugu actor Mahesh Babu. She is also known for being the wife of veteran Telugu actor Krishna Ghattamaneni. He died on 28 September 2022 at AIG Hospital in Hyderabad after suffering from the illness. The news of his demise was shared by his son Mahesh Babu on social media. they wrote,

The couple has two sons named famous Telugu actors Mahesh Babu and Ramesh Babu. Ramesh Babu died due to age related illness on 10 January 2022. Ramesh Babu was a Telugu actor and producer. He was the founder of a production house named Krishna Productions Private Limited. Ltd. In 2004, he started producing Telugu films under his own production house with his younger brother Mahesh Babu. Mahesh appeared in the hit Telugu films Arjun and Athidhi, which were produced by Ramesh Babu.

According to Mahesh Babu, he used to go to his mother’s house before the release of each of his films. He loved to drink a cup of coffee made with his own hands and treated it as ‘Prasad’ of the temple. In an interview given to a media reporter in early 2022, Mahesh had talked about his relationship with Indira Devi. He said,
I go to my mother’s house and drink coffee before the release of my film because I feel how coffee tastes. Offering From the temple for me.”
