How to Unlock McCoy-Oni in Vampire Survivors

To unlock McCoy-Oni in Vampire Survivors: Legacy of the Moonspell, the player must complete a series of weapon evolutions that lead to tanuki.

Fans of Japanese folklore are sure to enjoy McCoy-Oni, one of eight new characters introduced. Vampire Survivor: Legacy of the Moon Curse, very similar to the deformed “civet cat” raccoon dog. Unfortunately, McCoy-Oni cannot transform in-game, instead wielding a powerful AoE weapon called the 108 Bocce, a beaded bracelet that casts a black aura around the user. Any mobs of enemies that enter the radius of this aura take damage, similar to how garlic damages enemies. Additionally, 108 Bocce are equipped with particle-shaped projectiles that fly around the player’s character, dealing additional damage to targets hit. So, thanks to his 108 Bocce, McCoy-Oni was able to easily survive a series of small enemies.

As the name suggests, the Ghost Cloak casts the specter of the player character, which, like a mine, freezes enemy targets and explodes to deal additional damage.
