The Napier people love Mississippi and have made it a personal goal to preserve it. Erin and Ben Napier try to revive their small town Laurel while managing their personal lives.

According to HGTV’s press release for the series:

“Ben and Erin say they dream of establishing a place where they can slow down and enjoy watching their two daughters, Helen and Mae, play, inspired by their childhood. “

To be continued:

“With the help of their ‘braham family’—close friends Malloria, Jim and Josh—Ben and Erin will rebuild their new home into a traditional English cottage where children their children and loved ones can create moments they will never forget.”

Home Town The Country House returns for a new season with the Napiers.

Napiers will come to the country in Season 6 of Home Town The Country House. Both will admit that they want a place to slow down and allow their children to grow up “outdoors” in the yard, as they did. In a social media announcement, the HGTV couple revealed to the world that they bought a house just outside Laurel to give their children the best education possible. Although Ben didn’t grow up in “the country”, it was always nearby and he often spent weekends with his grandparents, who owned large farms. Meanwhile, Erin grew up in the backyard and spends a lot of time outside. Both wanted their children to enjoy the same experience, which inspired their latest purchase.

The upcoming season of Home Town The Country House will take viewers through the renewal process. Close friends will be helping the newlyweds, which means memories will be made even before the house is ready for the big unveiling. In the trailer, Erin asks their children if they are ready to be “farmers”, and the couple then share stories of their youth. She went on to say that she grew up in the backyard, fascinated by fossils and all things mud, and worried that her girls would never be allowed to do the same.

Ben continued:

So to have a place in the country where we can say, ‘Get out there, do whatever you want,’ the author explains.

In the ad, Erin also says that when her girls arrive at the end of the day, she wants their hair to be messy and “the shower water must be cloudy”. In an interview with House Beautiful, they talked about “being their own customer” and how frustrating it can be because they know so much about what’s out there.

Erin also stated:

“We knew too much about what could be imagined. I had no sleep for about two months before we finished it. I woke up in the middle of the night nervous.”

She added, fixing other people’s houses is much simpler than repairing houses for themselves because Home Town and The Country House couple have opinions about everything. Watch the pair rebuild their own ranch in the upcoming season of Home Town The Country House on HGTV on December 4, with episodes available to watch after they air on Discovery+.
