Hoda Kotb offers to remake Kelly Rowland’s ‘Today Show’

Grammy Award winner Kelly Rowland was supposed to be NBC co-host Today is the show on February 16. But a disagreement about her dressing room led to the famous singer refusing to go on air and leaving the set. Despite the drama of her wardrobe, Today is the show Host Hoda Kotb says she would welcome Rowland back to singing with open arms.

“I just want to say this: I have great love and admiration for Kelly Rowland. I adore her. And I want her to come back on our show and I want her to host her again,” she said.

“She can share my dressing room! We will be in this together! Anyway, she just wanted to say we love her. “We have loved her on this show for many, many, many years.”

Today Show Host Gets Honest About Locker Rooms

There was an issue over the size of Rowland’s dressing room, which was too small, which ultimately caused the singer to leave the set. And while it may seem like a small problem to some, Today Show co-host Savannah Guthrie says the dressing rooms could use a little improvement.

“What can I say? Yes, our dressing rooms need a little TLC. But I have to say that we have a historic studio that has been around for over 70 years. It’s a small space and it’s not that easy to renovate. So, you know, I totally get it,” Guthrie said.

“In fact, I’ve seen a lot of green rooms lately and there are some phenomenally beautiful ones. But I hope that what we lack in the decoration of a green room we make up for with the warmth and gratitude we have towards the guests who come because they mean a lot to us. Let’s call it intimate. We’ll call it intimate. Cozy.”

Reality star criticizes Kelly Rowland

Guthrie understands Rowland’s complaint about her small walk-in closet. But not everyone agrees with the R&B singer. Others, like Bethenny Frankel, believe the situation was exaggerated. Frankel accused Rowland of having “diva expectations,” based on her personal experience visiting the set.

“Your dressing room is the size of a closet and you’re trying to fit all your people into the clown car. And you know what? You are so excited, so kind. “You’re a co-host of the ‘Today’ show, an entertainment institution, a news organization that’s not about fancy dressing rooms,” Frankel said.

“This was not the time for diva expectations.”
