Conor McGregor‘s legal team is speaking out after a video emerged of him with his rape accuser.
On Thursday (June 15), the 34-year-old UFC fighter was accused of raping a woman at Game 4 of the NBA Finals earlier this month.
A video that seeming shows Conor and his accuser walking together into a bathroom was released shortly thereafter.
His legal team cited the clip in a new statement that questions the story about the encounter.

TMZ obtained the video, which appears to call into question the claim that the woman was “physically forced” into the bathroom by security. Instead, she and Conor appear to walk in while holding hands.
Conor‘s attorney Barbara R. Llanes said that the video calls the event into question.
“After the video was released by TMZ, the claimant’s lawyer now has changed her story. Mr. McGregor welcomes the investigation, which he firmly believes will show the claims against him are false. After not responding to the demand for money made by claimant’s counsel, she turned to the media to apply pressure. This is no more than a shakedown,” they said.
