Here’s Why Christina Aguilera Hopes Not to Appear in Britney Spear’s Memoir

Even though Aguilera and Spears have had close ties throughout their careers, the “Genie In A Bottle” singer does not want to be included in her upcoming memoir.

Christina Aguilera recently appeared on Jimmy Kimmel live to talk about her Las Vegas residency, a funny prank she pulled on her fiancé, and her (understandable) obsession with Halloween.

Near the end of the interview, Kimmel asked Aguilera: “You know Britney Spears has a memoir coming out, do you think you’ll be involved in it?”

“Dude, I don’t know,” Aguilera responded after rolling her eyes.

Then, the talk show host asked the singer if expected was included in the memoirs, titled “The Woman in Me.”

“It’s me? expecting? “I mean, I hope everything is okay with her and everything is beautiful,” he responded. “I think the future should be celebrated.”

Kimmel, not satisfied with Aguilera’s response, insisted: “If you had to choose between being in this or not being in this…”

Before answering, the “Reflection” singer laughed at her question, apparently wanting to avoid the topic.

“You know…” Aguilera said, struggling to find the words to respond. She then backtracked and asked Kimmel, “Really, really?”

Kimmel, in fact, being “real,” had his own hopes of appearing in the long-awaited memoir. Aguilera noted, “I’d rather it be you than me.”

“So I hope you’re in it,” the singer added. “You will do the book.”

Britney’s Bomb-Filled Memoirs

Recently, multiple sources revealed to TMZ that Spears supposedly talks about her unplanned pregnancy with Justin Timberlake in her memoir.

In the book, Britney allegedly wrote: “I loved Justin very much. I always hoped that one day we would have a family together. This would be much sooner than she had anticipated.”

At the time of the pregnancy, Spears and Timberlake were only 19 years old. While the “Cry Me A River” singer knew that abortion was the right option, Spears noted that she had her doubts.

Britney’s memoir, “The Woman In Me,” will be published on October 24.
