Hasit Dani is an Indian businessman and entrepreneur. He is a second generation descendant of the Dani family, one of the founding families of Asian Paints Limited. He is a board member of Asian Paints.

He belongs to a Hindu Jain family. His grandfather was a resident of Kapadvanj, a historical town in Kheda district of Gujarat.

His mother’s name is Ina Dani. She is a keen yoga practitioner and follower of yoga teacher BKS Iyengar. She taught yoga to pregnant women at the Iyengar Yoga Centre, which the husband-wife established in 1998 in their residential building, Home Villa. He has also served as the Managing Trustee of Guruji Iyengar’s Light on Yoga Research Trust (LOYRT).

In 2017, he resigned from his leadership roles at Asian Paints and became its co-promoter. He is the Chairman of Adverb Technologies and IIM Trichy and an Independent Director of HDFC and Havells.

He is a board member of Asian Paints. In 1995, he became a director of Dani Holding and Trading Company, Dani Finance and Investments Company and Dani Capital and Investments Company. He has been a whole-time Director of Gujarat Organics Private Limited since 27 May 2000. On August 28, 2010, he took up the position of director of Hash Holding and Trading Company.

In 2021, he along with his wife Shubhalakshmi Hasit Dani purchased a ₹95 crore duplex apartment, House No. 102, on the eighth and ninth floors, located on Carmichael Road, South Mumbai. The size of the apartment is 6,374 square feet. The deal was registered on December 30, 2020, a day before the deadline to register properties with 2 percent stamp duty in Maharashtra ended. Dani bought the apartment from Hydra Trading, another company of Asian Paints Promoter Group.
