Despite previously saying that he and his wife Gypsy Rose Blanchard were planning to wait a while before starting a family, Ryan Scott Anderson sparked some pregnancy rumors with a recent cryptic post.
In a recent Instagram post, Anderson posted a photo of him putting his arm around Blanchard’s belly while her dog snuggled up next to her. “My little family and I hugged each other,” Anderson captioned the post with a heart emoji.
The post immediately caught the attention of many Instagram users who were wondering if Gypsy Rose Blanchard was pregnant. “I hope she’s pregnant and he’s not just talking about her and the dog,” one Instagram user said.
Another Instagram user declared: “I knew it!!!!” without really revealing what exactly they knew.
However, some Instagram users were quick to defend the couple’s privacy. “No one really knows if she’s pregnant, don’t worry, she’s grown up too, so who cares if she is?” declared a fellow user.
Others added that they hoped Gypsy Rose Blanchard would take a little respite after spending the last eight years of her life in prison. “While children are a blessing, I wish she had had a little more time alone to explore and see the world, to heal. You can certainly do those things. [with] children but I feel [with] her trauma, she should really focus on herself.”
Gypsy Rose Blanchard said she has ‘no reservations’ when it comes to having children
During an interview with Entertainment tonight Last month, Gypsy Rose Blanchard opened up about her and Anderson having children in the future.
“I have no reservations,” Blanchard explained. “We’ve both talked about starting a family, but we don’t know when yet.”
However, Gypsy Rose Blanchard apparently said that having children wouldn’t happen anytime soon. “My life is a little hectic right now. So we are just trying to take it day by day,” she noted. “We’re just trying to get the marriage off to a good start before bringing the kids into this situation right now.”
Blanchard also spoke with PEOPLE about the possibility of having children and how her past plays a huge role in how she will approach raising children. “Every time someone says, ‘You think because of what you went through you’re going to do that to your children?’ I say, ‘You know what? Absolutely not,” she said. “I have learned what not to do. I’m not worried about my parenting when it comes to that.”
She went on to add that she doesn’t expect to have any problems in her marriage to Anderson. “I think this, being in prison, has been the difficult part. I believe that when I am at home with my family, with my husband’s arms around me and surrounded by my loved ones, then I will be happy.”
