Keith Nale, two-time ‘Survivor’ contestant, dies at 62

Keith Nale, twice Survivor The contestant has died at the age of 62, as confirmed by his family.

Wes Nale, his son, confirmed that his father died Tuesday afternoon.

“He had been fighting cancer for the last few months and we found out in January,” she told ET.

Keith first appeared in 2014. Survivor: San Juan del Sur with his son Wes.

Before the show, when asked what it meant to play Survivor between us, Keith told CBS: “We are both very competitive with each other and with each other. I really want to share and live this experience with my son. I can’t wait to show him that the old man still has it!!

Wes said: “Being able to play with my loved one will be fantastic. I’m sure my dad will impress me with everything he does and how he will play the social game of his. It will be more fun to play Survivor with him because I will have someone on the island who I can trust 100% when things get tough or when big moves need to be made.”

Keith made it to the final four of the competition that season.

Keith also participated in Survivor: Cambodia in 2015.
