The 32-year-old Munchausen-by-proxy victim, who was released from prison last week, spoke about which of the surgeries he made his mother undergo under the false belief that she had several illnesses.

The newly freed woman, who served eight years for her role in the murder of her mother Dee Dee in 2015, said the most painful ordeal was “removing two salivary glands from behind my neck,” via People.

He said he “didn’t respond very well to the anesthesia,” which made the recovery process “very, very difficult.”

“To this day, it has left me with the side effects of having to clear my throat all the time. So it’s always, if you listen to me, it’s a constant thing that I’ve had since then. And it bothers people a lot,” says Gypsy, adding that she doesn’t mean to bother anyone.

“It’s because my saliva is very thick and that’s why I always have to clear my throat. So it’s been a negative side effect for me. And the reason I had surgery is because my mother had put me [Orajel] on my gums to make me drool at the appointment and complain to the doctor who [I drool] too much.”

Gypsy said that when she questioned her mother, “she would get very angry with me and start manipulating me in a way that took away her love.”
